Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s maintenance department. The ideal candidate will ensure all equipment, facilities, and systems are maintained to the highest standards, supporting smooth hotel operations and delivering a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across all hotel areas (guest rooms, public areas, kitchen, laundry, back-of-house).

Inspect hotel facilities regularly to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with 4-star standards.

Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical issues.

Monitor utility consumption (water, electricity) and implement energy-saving initiatives.

Maintain records of maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of spare parts.

Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when required.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety standards, and local authority requirements.

Train, guide, and supervise maintenance team members.

Support other departments (Housekeeping, Front Office, F&B) in resolving technical issues affecting operations.

Requirements

Diploma or technical certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a hotel environment (4-star or above preferred).

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.

Leadership and team management skills.

Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.

Knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance systems.

Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Computer literacy for reporting and documentation.
