Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain accounting standards, VAT, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors and handle audit requirements
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance
• Support management with financial analysis and reports

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA/ACCA preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (Bahrain experience is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and local compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
