Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments across multiple contracting projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure adherence to company safety standards.
• Lead safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks for site staff and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, and training logs.
• Support management in safety audits, compliance checks, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• NEBOSH, OSHA, or IOSH certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction contracting projects.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard control, and construction safety standards.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
• Valid driving license and ability to travel between sites.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• First Aid & CPR certification is a plus.
