Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Draughtsman to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing MEP drawings (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings based on project specifications, consultant standards and authority requirements such as EWA, EDD, Tatweer, Civil Defense, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings

Prepare detailed HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting Drawings

Drafting based on consultant IFC drawings and site conditions

Coordination with engineering team, site team and subcontractors

Update drawings as per site instructions and variations

Maintain drawing registers and revision records

Prepare Builder’s Work drawings

Prepare MEP sections, schematics and layouts

Knowledge of authority standards and submission requirements

Quantity take-off from drawings when required

Attend coordination meetings internally and externally

Ensure timely submission and revisions to consultant

Required Skills

Strong experience in AutoCAD (mandatory)

Experience in Revit / BIM (preferred)

Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing systems

Understanding of MEP construction works

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Familiar with Bahrain construction authority standards (added advantage)

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical OR MEP Drafting

Minimum 3–5 years GCC experience (Bahrain experience preferred)

Experience in building, villas, or infrastructure projects

Salary Range

(Based on Bahraini market – optional to add)

Monthly Salary: BD 250 – BD 450 (depending on experience)
