Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Tissue Converting Machinery

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving tissue converting machines such as log saws, rewinders, embossers, laminators, packaging machines, and related equipment. The role also involves preventive maintenance, machine upgrades, and ensuring smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of tissue converting machines.

Diagnose mechanical issues and ensure minimum machine downtime.

Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance plans.

Adjust machine settings for optimal output and product quality.

Inspect mechanical components such as bearings, belts, gears, rollers, and pneumatic systems.

Support production teams in solving machine-related problems.

Work with suppliers and OEMs for parts sourcing and technical support.

Implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce energy/consumable usage.

Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities.

Follow safety rules and ensure machines comply with safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 2–5 years experience in tissue converting or paper-based machinery (preferred).

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.

Ability to read technical drawings and machine manuals.

Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with industrial maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.

Basic knowledge of PLC-controlled systems is an advantage.
