Job Description: Store Keeper

Position Overview
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining store records, handling material receipt and issuance, and ensuring proper storage, safety, and documentation of all items within the warehouse or store.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies.

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items.

Issue materials to departments as per approved requests.

Maintain accurate stock levels and update records in the system.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Monitor slow-moving, expired, or damaged stock and report to management.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

Prepare and submit stock reports to management (daily/weekly/monthly).

Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams for timely replenishment.

Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.

Handle documentation such as Goods Received Notes (GRN), issue vouchers, and stock registers.

Track stock inflow and outflow and update ERP/Excel regularly.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Supply Chain/Store Management preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper or in warehouse operations.

Strong knowledge of inventory control and ERP systems.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficient in MS Excel and basic computer applications.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Ability to lift and move materials as required.
