Hiring: Facility Management Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)

We are seeking a highly experienced Facility Management Engineer to join our team at reputed company in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5–8 years of Gulf experience in facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all school facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable functioning of systems and assets.

Manage and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems including HVAC, chillers, pumps, generators, water supply, fire-fighting, and electrical distribution.

Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, and corrective).

Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and technical reports to support the Facility Management Department in decision-making and procurement.

Maintain asset registers, equipment history, and service logs to ensure effective tracking and reporting.

Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with SLA/KPIs, safety, and quality standards.

Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment, ensuring proper performance, safety, and reliability.

Support the FM department in budgeting, cost control, and vendor management.

Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, HSE policies, and energy efficiency practices.

Provide technical expertise during emergency repairs, troubleshooting, and project works.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

5–8 years of Gulf experience in Facilities Management, preferably in schools, universities, or large-scale institutions.

Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, asset management, and building services.

Experience in preparing maintenance quotations and cost estimates.

Strong vendor coordination and contractor management skills.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and reporting abilities.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
