Role Summary The school nurse provides a calm, confidential, and responsive care presence on campus. This role is central to our child-first model, offering physical, emotional, and holistic health support when learners need it most. The nurse champions wellness by integrating conventional medical care with evidence-informed holistic practices to nurture the whole child—body, mind, and spirit.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide first aid and manage daily health concerns
● Maintain student health records and administer medication
● Support emotional regulation in partnership with well-being staff
● Incorporate holistic approaches (e.g. mindfulness, breathwork, nutrition guidance, rest environments) where appropriate and in line with parental consent
● Liaise with families and local healthcare providers
● Monitor and promote hygiene, nutrition, and general wellness practices
● Participate in health education initiatives for learners and staff
Essential
● Registered Nurse certification with valid licence to practise
● Experience in paediatric or school-based nursing preferred
● Familiarity with holistic health principles and a willingness to integrate non-invasive, supportive care strategies
● Calm, empathetic, and responsive approach to children’s health and wellbeing
