Carpentry Workshop Foreman*

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Workshop Foreman to oversee daily operations in our carpentry workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of carpenters to ensure high-quality workmanship and productivity.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpentry staff, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements.
- Ensure all safety regulations and policies are followed in the workshop.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and tools, placing orders as necessary.
- Conduct regular quality checks on projects and provide feedback for improvements.
- Schedule and manage workflow to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders as needed.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the workshop.
