Job Summary:

The Bar Runner is responsible for assisting bartenders and bar staff by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, and running smoothly. This role is vital to maintaining the speed and efficiency of service in a fast-paced nightclub environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Refill and restock bar items such as liquor, mixers, ice, glassware, garnishes, napkins, and straws.

Assist bartenders by collecting empty glasses, cleaning bar surfaces, and disposing of trash.

Ensure ice bins are filled and clean throughout the shift.

Deliver stock and supplies from storage to the bar area as needed.

Help prepare garnishes and bar setups before service begins.

Clean and sanitize bar tools, glassware, and workstations regularly.

Support bartenders during peak hours to ensure quick and efficient service.

Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

Report any equipment malfunction or stock shortages to the supervisor immediately.

Assist in closing procedures, including cleaning, stock taking, and organizing inventory.

Requirements:
Previous experience in a hospitality or nightclub environment is preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong physical stamina; able to stand for long hours and lift heavy items (e.g., crates of beverages, ice bins).

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Neat, presentable appearance and adherence to grooming standards.

Working Conditions:
Nightclub or bar setting with loud music and crowded areas.

Late night and weekend shifts.

May require lifting up to 20–25 kg.
