About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Garage Foreman to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our garage. This role is critical in ensuring that all light and heavy vehicles, machinery, and equipment are maintained and serviced to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the garage team.
• Perform inspections and maintenance of light and heavy vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Manage repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures at all times.
• Oversee inventory management of parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate with management regarding service schedules, team performance, and equipment condition.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Manage and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Key Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in vehicle and machinery maintenance and repair, including both light and heavy-duty equipment.
• Proven ability to lead a team of mechanics or technicians.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, machinery, and equipment diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Certification or qualification in automotive repair or machinery maintenance in Construction equipment
