We are hiring:
Job Title: Accountant

Location: Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain

Job Description:
A key member of our finance team, the Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial performance, and support decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for external audits.

B. Accounting Operations:
• Record and process accounting transactions accurately and timely.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain fixed asset records and ensure proper depreciation calculations.
• Prepare journal entries and other accounting documentation.

C. Tax Compliance:
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Gather and organize tax-related data and documentation.
• Research and apply tax laws and regulations relevant to company operations.
• Support tax planning and compliance activities.

D. Internal Controls:
• Adhere to established internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Identify and report potential financial risks.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of risk management strategies.

E. Financial Systems:
• Utilize accounting software and financial systems to perform accounting tasks.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting software and financial systems.
• Maintain the security and integrity of financial data.
