Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to assist individuals who require help with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help clients with mobility, including transfers from beds, wheelchairs, and other aids
• Plan and prepare meals based on dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration (if certified)
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings
• Monitor clients’ health and report any significant changes to family members or healthcare providers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Adhere to care plans and ensure the client’s comfort and safety at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques, including assisting with daily activities
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude
• Ability to lift and move clients, as necessary

Work Environment:
This role requires working in clients’ homes or care facilities. It may involve physical activity, including lifting or assisting clients with mobility.
