The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain and logistics operations for our liquor and beverage products. This role involves managing sourcing, procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. The successful candidate will ensure that the supply chain processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals, maintaining high standards of quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to support business objectives, including cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and customer service excellence.
• Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts to secure the best terms for price, quality, and delivery, focusing on ingredients, packaging, and other materials specific to the liquor and beverage industry.
• Production Planning: Collaborate with production teams to create and manage production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and meeting demand forecasts.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, minimize waste, and ensure product availability.
• Logistics and Transportation Management: Manage and optimize the transportation of raw materials and finished goods, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Warehouse Management: Supervise warehousing operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products. Implement best practices in warehouse management to improve operational efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure all products meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Cost Management: Monitor and manage supply chain and logistics costs, implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and logistics processes and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, including health and safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance, identify trends, and implement improvements. Prepare regular reports for senior management on supply chain metrics and performance.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, with a strong background in the liquor or beverage industry.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiation and management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and logistics software.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
