VAM Systems is currently looking for DevOps Engineer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Job Description:

Experience: 2-5 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain all aspects of on-premises and cloud infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Perform tasks with regards to systems hardening, security, firewalls, permissions, access control etc.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills.
• Provide support to internal and external clients.
• Configure and maintain the monitoring and reporting platforms.
• Create and maintain operational documentation for infrastructure.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any Linux Certification
• Virtualization (KVM / VMWare etc.)
• Containers (Docker)
• Configuration management tools such as ansible
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Solid scripting skills with shell scripts, powershell etc.
• Solid networking knowledge.
