Description

1. Greeting and Seating Customers: A waiter & waitress starts by welcoming customers as they arrive at the restaurant. They may guide them to their tables and provide menus.

2. Taking Orders: Once customers are seated, the waitress takes their food and drink orders, making note of any special requests or dietary restrictions.

3. Communicating with the Kitchen: The waiter & waitress then relays the orders to the kitchen staff, ensuring that they are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.

4. Serving Food and Beverages: When the orders are ready, the waitress brings the food and drinks to the customers' tables, making sure to serve them accurately and efficiently.

5. Checking on Customers: Throughout the meal, the waitress checks in with customers to see if they need anything else, refill drinks, or address any concerns.

6. Processing Payments: At the end of the meal, the waitress presents the check to the customers, processes payment, and provides any necessary change or receipts.

7. Cleaning and Resetting Tables: After customers leave, the waitress cleans and resets the tables for the next guests, ensuring that the dining area is tidy and ready for the next service.

8. Assisting with Other Tasks: In addition to serving customers, waitresses may assist with other tasks such as restocking supplies, taking reservations, or helping with general restaurant upkeep.
