Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and sketch original designs for clothing and/or accessories.
• Research and experiment with various materials and fabrics to find the perfect fit for each design.
• Develop prototypes and test the fit and functionality of designs on models or fit models.
• Present and showcase designs to potential customers, buyers, and vendors.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and industry developments.
• Continuously generate innovative and marketable design ideas.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Fashion Design (preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a talent for creating visually compelling designs.
• Keen eye for fashion trends and aesthetics.
• In-depth knowledge of the fashion industry, fabrics, and construction techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve goals.
