A REPUTED COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR A RIGGERS TO JOIN THE TEAM

THE JOB DISCEPTION IS BELOW

 Inspect and assess rigging equipment, such as slings, shackles, hooks, and cables, to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
 Assemble and dismantle rigging equipment based on project requirements, ensuring proper connections and load distribution.
 Calculate load capacities, determine appropriate rigging techniques, and select the right equipment for each lifting operation.
 Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate rigging activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
 Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to lift, move, position, and secure heavy equipment, machinery, or materials.
 Signal and communicate with crane operators and other team members during lifting operations to ensure safe and precise movements.
 Inspect and test rigging equipment and connections to identify and address any defects or issues that may compromise safety or efficiency.
 Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety procedures.
 Monitor and maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and maintenance of rigging equipment.
 Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvements in rigging techniques, equipment, and processes to enhance efficiency and safety.
 Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
 Document and maintain accurate records of rigging activities, including inspections, equipment maintenance, and lifting operations.
 Assist in the preparation of rigging plans, risk assessments, and lift studies to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
 Identify and report potential hazards, incidents, or near misses related to rigging operations, and actively participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
 Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in rigging techniques and equipment.

QUALIFICATION

 High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications in rigging, crane operation, or related fields are preferred.
 Proven experience as a Rigger in industrial or construction settings, with a strong understanding of rigging principles, techniques, and equipment.
 Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, lift plans, and rigging specifications.
 Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices, such as OSHA guidelines and ANSI/ASME standards.
 Ability to operate various types of rigging equipment, including cranes, hoists, winches, and slings, and perform rigging calculations.
