Job Title: Barista and Front of House for a newly bakery

Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Barista and Front of House. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting speciality coffee beverages, managing cashier transactions, assisting with inventory tasks, and participating in products preparations to ensure a delightful experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Coffee Preparation:

Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain a thorough understanding of different coffee brewing methods and techniques.
Consistently adhere to recipe standards and follow proper preparation procedures.

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take and process customer orders accurately using the POS system.
Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences.
Ensure a clean and inviting environment for customers.


Inventory Management:

Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
Monitor and restock coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent shortages and waste.
Communicate with the management team to report inventory needs.

Product Preparation:

Participate in minor baking preparations, including measuring and mixing ingredients.
Ensure that baked goods are ready for customer service at the start of customer shift.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee preparation areas and customer service areas.
Clean coffee machines, equipment, and utensils regularly.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
