We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards.

Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.

Taxation: Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Supervision and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.

Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by senior management.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is a strong plus.
