Description

- Have at least 4 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the Petrochemical Industry.
- Have evidence of Educational, Vocational, or Commercial training in Process Instrumentation practices.
- Be able to Read Write and Converse in English.
- To be competent to work with Pneumatic, Electronic, and Digital equipment and transmission signals, analyzer systems, including calibration of pneumatic and electronic instruments.
- To be able to work in all standard units of measurement used in BAPCO and be able to convent from to another.
- To understand fully the principles of Three Term Control and knowledge of the various forms of interactive control systems.
- Be familiar with all forms of fault finding and test equipment used in the Refinery.
- Be experienced in safely working on a running plan and removing from service, re-installing and commissioning equipment.
- Be familiar with, and understand the Company’s safety regulation and permit system.
- Understand company regulation on :
- Work and fire permits.
- Smoking regulations.
- Personal safety items, i.e. helmets, goggles, gloves, shoes, etc.
- Security regulations.
- Quality System Procedures.
