Description

Purpose of the Position: To develop and implement accounting policies for the company to ensure the effective accounting management of the company’s affair and compliance with any relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain day-to-day accounting to ensure the complete and accurate processing of financial data in accordance with internal procedures.
• Accurate and timely booking of the expenses and proper general ledger accounting.
• Maintain reliable and accurate accounting records for the company and produce management accounts as necessary to facilitate the effective management of the company.
• Supervise accountancy staff to ensure that they are appropriately trained and motivated and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
• Develop and maintain all other necessary controls and processes to ensure that legal and financial requirements and regulations are complied with viz.:- filling of tax returns.
• Manage the timely and correct Preparation, Filing, Payment and Audit of applicable local direct and indirect taxes.
• Debtors and Creditors Accounting, reconciliation, should maintain clean and updated books.
• Responsible to differentiate between capex and opex expense and manage the end to end Fixed Assets Accounting
• Monitor the financial information system to ensure that timely and accurate information is provided for managerial decision making.
• Budgeting and Costing by preparing budget and cost comparison and analysis.
• Responsible for Insurance of company assets and employees, adequate coverage and timely renewals.
• Coordinate with Banks for payments, facilities and other banking products to minimize cost to organization
• Lead and complete internal and external audits on time.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow projections and associated records to determine the optimum use of funds.

Professional Qualifications & Experience Required:
• Graduate/ Post-Graduate in accountancy (B.Com. /M.Com) CA Intermediate/ PE II.
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in hard core accounting role in a manufacturing organization.
• Sound working knowledge in SAP FICO module.
• Supervisory experience, excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy and excellent analytical skills.
