Description

• Schedule and implement a self-verification (SV) and assurance schedule to adequately cover the planned activities, performed by the vendors. The SVs shall be executed using Terminal’s SV tool, however the planning and scheduling shall be carried out by the Assurance and Self Verification Officer. This schedule shall be agreed by the HSSEQ Manager.
? Carry out trending and analysis and provide daily feedback on performance to the HSSEQ Manager
• Attend daily Permit to work meetings to ensure you have an understanding of the planned and approved activities.
• Visit each of the work sites to provide oversight and assurance that the work being executed is being done correctly (as per Position summary)
• Execute the minimum amount of formal assurance and SV activities as agreed in the developed schedule.
• Assist with the input and development of Bridging documents.
• Ensure all identified hazards, near misses and incident reports are captured in the Terminal’s database.
• Verify that the vendor’s HSSE stats is complete and accurate.
• Assist with vendor led incident investigation, as directed by the Mandate for incident investigation.
• Execute the stop work authority when needed
• Attend Toolbox talk meetings to provide assurance that they are to a good standard.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Have previous experience as an Area Authority or Operations Supervisor within an oil/gas terminal or offshore oil/gas installation
• Have pervious experience in an HSE Role within an oil/gas terminal or offshore installation
? Similar Industrial Experience as Area Authority or Supervisor
