Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Storekeeper to join our team. Our company is a leading supplier of building materials to the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

- Receive and inspect incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Ensure that all materials are stored in a safe and secure manner.
- Prepare and dispatch materials to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform regular stock checks to identify any discrepancies or shortages.
- Manage and maintain the warehouse equipment and tools.

Requirements:

- Operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse and load materials for delivery.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in the building materials industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
