Description

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Food and Beverage (F&B) finance team. The F&B Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements and reports, tracking cash flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles for the F&B department.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger for the F&B department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the F&B department. Provide analysis and insights into the financial performance.

• Track cash flow and forecast future cash requirements for the F&B department.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Review and verify charges before payments are made.

• Ensure F&B accounting practices are in compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.

• Assist with budgeting and variance analysis for the F&B department.

• Provide data and reports to support business decisions as needed.

• Additional ad-hoc assignments and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is a plus.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as an Accountant, preferably in the F&B industry.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.

• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle high volumes of work accurately.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Team player with ability to work independently.
