Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project/Contracting Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a focus on project accounting and contracting. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Manage project accounting and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported
• Review and analyze contracts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for ongoing projects
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports for internal and external stakeholders
• VAT filing
• Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring they remain within budget
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate billing to clients
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting policies and procedures
• Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software - Tally ERP, Inventory, payroll, Cost Center Management.
• 5+ years of experience in project accounting and contracting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
