Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and organized Construction Storekeeper to manage and maintain inventory, materials, tools, and equipment at our construction site. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in construction or building materials stores and be capable of maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers.

Issue materials and tools to site engineers, supervisors, and workers as required.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement department for replenishment.

Organize and maintain the construction store in a clean and systematic manner.

Prepare material receipt notes, issue vouchers, and stock reports.

Conduct regular physical stock checks and report discrepancies.

Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials to prevent damage or loss.

Monitor material consumption and maintain records of damaged or returned items.

Coordinate with site teams to ensure materials are available when needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Storekeeper in the construction industry is required.

Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and inventory management.

Familiarity with stock registers, material requisitions, GRNs, and inventory documentation.

Basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel and inventory management systems.

Good organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work independently and coordinate with site personnel.

Must be locally available in Bahrain.
