Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair outboard and inboard marine engines.
Perform preventive maintenance on marine engines, fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Carry out boat rigging, engine mounting, and installation of steering and electrical components.
Service marine transmissions, steering systems, and controls.
Conduct sea trials and performance testing following repairs.
Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with marine safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Provide technical support and on-site servicing at marinas and customer locations.

Requirements:

Diploma or technical certification in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in marine engine maintenance and repair.
Hands-on experience with outboard and inboard marine engines.
Knowledge of marine electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with Yamaha marine engines is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
