Description


Help launch Bubble Tea Shop and lead its daily shop operations. This is a working supervisor role, so the person will prepare drinks and serve customers alongside managing stock, quality, hygiene, and the team.

Responsibilities before opening

- Help select equipment, utensils, ingredients, and packaging.
- Develop and test drinks with you, documenting recipes, portions, and preparation steps.
- Calculate ingredient cost per drink and identify potential waste.
- Set up stock tracking, cleaning routines, and opening and closing checklists.
- Help organise the counter for efficient preparation and service.
- Support supplier comparisons and train additional staff as they join.
- Prepare for trial service and opening day.

Responsibilities after opening

- Prepare bubble tea and other menu drinks consistently.
- Welcome customers, explain the menu, and handle feedback.
- Operate the POS, reconcile daily sales, and report discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory, expiry dates, purchasing needs, and wastage.
- Maintain food hygiene, equipment cleanliness, and shop presentation.
- Coordinate shifts and coach the team as it grows.
- Support community activities and help customers use the shop’s digital features.

**Candidate requirements**

- Previous hands-on bubble tea experience strongly preferred.
- Experience taking responsibility for a café shift or small outlet.
- Able to follow and document recipes, manage stock, and understand basic drink costing.
- Friendly, reliable, organised, and comfortable speaking with customers.
- Comfortable using a POS, tablets, and digital ordering tools.
- Strong spoken English. Arabic is a plus.
