**Job Title: AV Technician (Audio Visual Technician)**

### Job Description

We are looking for experienced AV Technicians for a prestigious client in Bahrain. The ideal candidates should have practical experience in installing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting audio-visual systems, preferably in commercial properties, hotels or live-event environments.

### Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing AV drawings and layouts.
- Support the installation, testing, calibration and commissioning of AV systems.
- Conduct on-site equipment checks, system health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Handle cabling changes, rack re-termination, cable dressing and removal of redundant equipment.
- Troubleshoot minor faults and escalate major technical issues when required.
- Check TV channels, receivers, Wi-Fi SSIDs, iPad/AirPlay, telephone sets and dimming systems.
- Coordinate with AV Engineers and SMATV Technicians to resolve technical issues.
- Perform minor electrical work related to AV systems.
- Maintain records of AV equipment and prepare wiring sketches and documentation.
- Support urgent call-outs and critical AV maintenance requirements when needed.

### Requirements

- Proven hands-on experience with audio-visual equipment, including microphones, amplifiers, projectors, video cameras and mixing consoles.
- Knowledge of wiring, signal flow and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in live main-stage events is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automation systems such as Crestron and Extron will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve technical issues efficiently.
