Description

Job Description - Responsible for carrying out finishing carpentry works according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards, ensuring accurate installation and a high-quality finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Install wooden doors, door frames, architraves, skirting boards, and decorative moldings.
- Install cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, wall panels, and other joinery works.
- Fit and adjust hinges, locks, handles, and other door hardware.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other finishing materials accurately.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, construction drawings, and installation details.
- Ensure proper alignment, level, plumb, and neat finishing of all installed items.
- Inspect completed work and rectify defects or imperfections.
- Coordinate with other trades to avoid damage to finished surfaces.
- Follow site safety procedures and maintain tools and work areas.
- Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality requirements.


REQUIRED SKILL:
- Proven experience in finishing carpentry or interior fit-out works.
- Knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and understand construction and shop drawings.
- Good measurement, cutting, fitting, and finishing skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
