Technical Designer & Site Supervisor
Location: Bahrain
Monthly Salary: BD 400 - BD 450
We are looking for a Technical Designer & Site Supervisor who can translate approved interior designs
into accurate, detailed drawings for execution and supervise on-site work. The role focuses on technical
detailing, contractor coordination, and quality control. Design concepts will be provided by our design
team.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed drawings from approved designs and 3D visuals, including plans, elevations, sections,
and construction details.
• Produce drawings for joinery, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, and other interior fit-out elements,
specifying dimensions, materials, and installation details.
• Conduct site measurements and verify existing conditions before issuing drawings.
• Prepare BOQs and material schedules to support quotations and execution.
• Review contractor and supplier shop drawings against the approved design.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and clarify execution
requirements.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance with approved drawings and
specifications.
• Identify discrepancies, follow up on corrective work, and report progress to management.
• Prepare snag lists and follow up until completion and handover.
• Maintain organised drawing files, revisions, and site records.
Requirements
• Relevant experience in technical drafting and interior fit-out site supervision.
• Strong AutoCAD skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate drawings suitable for execution.
• Practical knowledge of joinery, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret design concepts and 3D visuals and develop workable technical details.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and manage deadlines.
Additional Advantages
• 3D modelling skills, particularly in 3ds Max or SketchUp.
• Experience in joinery production and installation.
• A valid Bahrain driving licence.
