Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff management, proper inventory control, and achievement of sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Supervise, train, and motivate store employees.
• Monitor sales performance and achieve sales targets.
• Ensure proper stock management, product availability, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor product expiry dates, pricing, promotions, and stock losses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare sales, inventory, and operational reports.
• Control operating expenses and minimize waste and shrinkage.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supermarket or retail management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, sales, and customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Reporting To: General Manager / Operations Manager
