Job Vacancy: Mid-Level Accountant – Food & Beverage / Hospitality

Location: Bahrain - immediate Hiring
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Accounting, preferably in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry
Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant with a strong background in the Food & Beverage and Hospitality sector to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor restaurant sales, daily revenue, cash collections, and POS reports.
Reconcile sales from cash, credit cards, and online delivery platforms.
Monitor food costs, beverage costs, inventory, and stock variances.
Prepare monthly profit and loss statements and management reports.
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and expense monitoring.
Manage supplier invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end closing, audits, and VAT compliance.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurants, cafés, hotels, catering, or other hospitality businesses.
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, food cost control, and revenue reconciliation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Candidates currently residing in Bahrain are preferred.
