Job Description

Position Title: Sales Electrical Engineer

Department: Business Development & Sales

Reports To: General Manager – Business Development & Sales

Employment Status: 6 Months and Extendable



Position Overview

The Sales Electrical Engineer supports the company’s business development and sales initiatives by combining technical knowledge with client-facing skills. This role assists in preparing technical proposals, responding to client inquiries, and supporting negotiations under the guidance of the General Manager. The incumbent will play a key role in bridging engineering expertise with commercial objectives, ensuring accurate technical communication and effective client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support

Assist in preparing technical quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.

Provide product demonstrations and explain technical specifications to clients.

Support in evaluating client requirements and aligning solutions with company offerings.

Maintain updated knowledge of electrical products, systems, and industry standards.

Business Development Assistance

Support lead generation activities by preparing client profiles and inquiry sheets.

Participate in client meetings alongside the General Manager.

Assist in market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of client communications, quotations, and follow-ups.





Client Relationship Management

Act as a secondary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.

Support in building long-term relationships through professional communication and service.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily activity reports and maintain sales call records.

Track inquiries, quotations, and conversion rates.

Assist in preparing monthly sales performance reports for management review.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy and timeliness of technical quotations and proposals.

Number of client inquiries successfully converted into opportunities.

Responsiveness to client communications (average turnaround time).

Contribution to overall sales pipeline growth (% of leads supported).

Quality of technical support provided to the General Manager and sales team.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (fresh graduates or up to 2 years’ experience).

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, industrial equipment, and energy solutions.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CAD/engineering software.

Ability to work under supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
