Description

We are looking to hire an experienced Male Tailor for a full-time position specializing in the production of children’s bedding, cushions, pillows, fabric accessories, and related textile products.

Job Responsibilities:
• Cut, stitch, sew, and finish children’s bedding, cushions, pillows, covers, and similar textile products.
• Follow provided designs, measurements, samples, and customer requirements accurately.
• Prepare prototypes and sample pieces when required.
• Carry out alterations, adjustments, and finishing work to a high standard.
• Ensure stitching, measurements, fabric alignment, and overall finishing meet quality standards.
• Handle fabrics, sewing machines, and tailoring tools properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area.
• Complete assigned production work within the required timeframe.
• Minimize fabric waste and use materials carefully.
• Coordinate with management regarding designs, production requirements, and any technical issues.

Skills & Requirements:
• Previous professional experience as a tailor is required.
• Strong sewing, cutting, measuring, and finishing skills.
• Experience working with bedding, cushions, home textiles, or similar products is preferred.
• Ability to understand measurements, patterns, and sample designs.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Clean, presentable, cheerful, and professional.
• Reliable, committed, and responsible.
• Good work ethic and willingness to stay long-term.

Employment Details:
• Position: Tailor
• Gender: Male
• Employment: Full-Time
• Working Days: 6 days per week
• Working Hours: 8–9 hours per day
• Salary: BHD 150 per month – All Inclusive
• The salary is inclusive of accommodation and transportation allowances. No separate accommodation or transportation allowance will be provided.

Practical Assessment:
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical sewing test/sample piece before final selection to demonstrate their workmanship, accuracy, and finishing quality.
