Description

A tissue manufacturing company in Bahrain is looking for an experienced Tissue Machine Technician / Operator to join our production team.

Position: Tissue Machine Technician / Operator

Job Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor tissue converting machines and production equipment.
Set up machines according to product specifications and production requirements.
Adjust machine settings for proper sheet size, folding, cutting, perforation and production speed.
Troubleshoot machine problems and carry out basic mechanical adjustments and repairs.
Monitor product quality during production and maintain consistent output.
Perform machine changeovers and assist with preventive maintenance.
Identify abnormal machine noise, vibration, alignment or other mechanical issues.
Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
Maintain a clean and safe working area and follow company safety procedures.
Record production information and report machine or quality problems to the supervisor.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with tissue paper machines / tissue converting machines is required.
Experience with facial tissue, toilet roll, hand towel, maxi roll or similar tissue converting machines will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of machine operation, setting, troubleshooting and changeover.
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge is preferred.
Able to work independently and under production targets.
Willing to work shifts when required.
Relevant experience in a tissue factory will be strongly preferred.
