Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator – Construction to coordinate and monitor MEP activities across construction projects, ensuring proper execution, coordination, and timely completion of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related building services works.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural, civil, and other construction activities.
Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with MEP engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams.
Monitor installation works for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP systems.
Identify and resolve site coordination issues and technical clashes.
Ensure MEP works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and site availability with procurement and project teams.
Follow up on inspections, testing, commissioning, and rectification of MEP works.
Monitor project progress and report delays, technical issues, and site requirements to the project management team.
Assist with preparation and review of RFIs, material submittals, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
Ensure compliance with Bahrain construction regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate snagging and rectification works.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience as an MEP Coordinator / MEP Engineer / MEP Supervisor in construction projects.
Experience with building construction projects, including villas, residential, commercial, or high-rise buildings.
Good knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, drawings, and site coordination.
Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection drawings.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Knowledge of construction safety and quality requirements.
Experience in Bahrain is preferred.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner preferred.
