Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer – Construction to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in construction planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls, with practical knowledge of Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
Prepare baseline programs, WBS, milestones, and look-ahead schedules.
Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules.
Collect progress updates from site teams and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
Identify delays, critical activities, and potential schedule risks.
Conduct critical path and planned-vs-actual progress analysis.
Prepare recovery schedules and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor progress.
Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and planning updates.
Assist with delay analysis and EOT documentation when required.
Attend project meetings and provide planning and scheduling updates.
Maintain accurate project planning records and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction.
GCC construction experience is required; Bahrain experience is highly preferred.
Strong practical knowledge of Primavera P6.
Knowledge of MS Project and MS Excel is an advantage.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, WBS, baseline schedules, CPM, and critical path.
Experience in progress monitoring, recovery planning, and delay analysis.
Ability to read construction drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner or candidate available on short notice is preferred.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with building, villa, commercial, or large-scale construction project experience and hands-on site planning experience are highly encouraged to apply.
