Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in managing and coordinating MEP works for high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, and commercial projects.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising MEP site activities from installation through testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily MEP construction activities on site.
Manage the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams to avoid clashes and rework.
Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
Monitor manpower, materials, productivity, work progress, and installation quality.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical or coordination issues.
Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
Ensure MEP installations are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover of MEP systems.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management teams.
Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress reports and maintain proper site documentation.
Attend technical and coordination meetings and provide practical engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and applicable Bahrain construction regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects.
Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Experience supervising MEP subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing, and commissioning.
Knowledge of construction QA/QC and HSE procedures.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is highly preferred.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong practical Bahrain construction experience, particularly those who have worked on high-rise buildings and large villa projects, will be given priority.
