Job Summary

ERA Projects is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Surveyor to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate site surveys, setting out construction works, establishing levels and coordinates, and ensuring construction activities are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct land, topographic, and construction surveys at project sites.
Carry out accurate setting-out, leveling, alignment, and positioning of construction works.
Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference points.
Operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying instruments.
Verify measurements, elevations, coordinates, dimensions, and construction levels against approved drawings.
Carry out surveys for excavation, foundations, columns, slabs, roads, drainage, utilities, and other construction works.
Interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings for site setting-out requirements.
Monitor construction works to ensure correct levels, dimensions, alignment, and tolerances.
Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the concerned engineer.
Prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, as-built data, and other survey documentation.
Assist in preparing and verifying as-built drawings and final survey records.
Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors.
Ensure surveying equipment is properly maintained and accurate.
Follow company quality, safety, and site procedures.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Construction/Land Surveyor.
Strong practical experience in construction site surveying and setting-out.
Hands-on experience with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and surveying equipment.
Good knowledge of levels, coordinates, benchmarks, alignment, and site measurements.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and construction drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is preferred.
Experience in villa, residential, commercial, high-rise, or civil construction projects is an advantage.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Bahrain construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is strongly preferred.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on experience in building construction, villas, high-rise buildings, civil works, foundations, roads, drainage, and utility works will be highly considered.
