Job Summary

The Quantity & Land Surveyor will be responsible for quantity measurement, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, site measurements, cost estimation, and commercial documentation for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil/building construction and be able to work closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct accurate site measurements, land measurements, and quantity take-offs for construction works.
Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quantity reports.
Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications.
Verify quantities of completed works at site.
Monitor material quantities, usage, wastage, and project costs.
Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and progress claims.
Evaluate variations, additional works, change orders, and site instructions.
Review subcontractor measurements, quotations, and payment applications.
Assist with tendering, estimation, procurement, and commercial evaluations.
Maintain accurate records of measurements, quantities, variations, and project costs.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Assist in preparation of final accounts, cost reports, and commercial documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction quantity surveying and/or land surveying.
Strong knowledge of civil and building construction.
Experience in quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimation, measurements, valuations, and cost control.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of surveying/QS software is an advantage.
Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and communication skills.
Bahrain construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is preferred.
Preferred Project Experience

Experience in villa, residential, commercial, high-rise, or general building construction projects will be an advantage.
