Description

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator / Production Technician to join our print and signage shop. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience running large-format printers, vinyl plotters, laminators, and CNC routers to produce high-quality signage, banners, and cut graphics.

Key Equipment You Will Operate

Large Format Printers: Wit-Color Grand Format Solvent Printer & Mutoh ValueJet Large Format Printer.

Vinyl Cutting Plotter: Mimaki CG-130SRII Cutting Plotter.

Finishing: Royal Sovereign Roll Laminator.

CNC Router: Flatbed CNC Woodworking/Acrylic Router.

Responsibilities

Set up, calibrate, and operate large-format inkjet printers, vinyl plotters, and CNC routers.

RIP files, check artwork, and adjust print/cut settings using production software (e.g., Onyx, FlexiSign, ArtCAM, Vectric).

Perform finishing work: laminating, vinyl weeding, mounting, trimming, and CNC panel cutting.

Perform routine daily and weekly maintenance (printhead cleaning, blade/bit changes, dust collection).

Monitor print and cut quality to ensure color accuracy, crisp cutting, and minimal material waste.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a print shop, sign shop, or digital production workshop.

Direct experience operating large-format solvent printers, vinyl plotters, and CNC routers.

Knowledge of materials (vinyl, banner flex, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum composite).

Basic computer skills and familiarity with print/RIP software and design software (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, or AutoCAD is a plus).

Strong attention to detail and ability to lift heavy rolls and panels.
