3D Designer – Signage & Production Specialist

Job Overview

Golden City is looking for a creative and detail-oriented 3D Designer to join our production team. In this role, you will design 3D signage, structural displays, exhibition setups, and custom fabrication models, preparing files accurately for CNC routing, laser cutting, and large-format printing.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D visual concepts, renders, and technical drawings for outdoor/indoor signage, 3D channel letters, kiosks, and exhibition stands.

Generate scale-accurate structural models and prep files for CNC routers, laser cutters, and large-format printing.

Collaborate with the production team to select appropriate materials (acrylic, metal, MDF, foam, flex) and construction methods.

Prepare high-resolution client presentations, realistic 3D mockups, and technical assembly layouts.

Perform site measurements and adjust technical drawings to real-world dimensions when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in 3D design within the signage, display, architectural, or event production industries.

Strong proficiency in 3D software (3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp, Rhino, or AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

Solid understanding of material properties, structural stability, lighting (LED placement), and CNC/cutting vector preparation.

Excellent spatial awareness, acute attention to detail, and ability to hit tight production deadlines.

Portfolio showcasing past 3D renders alongside real-world signage or structural projects.
