A leading construction company in the Kingdom of Bahrain is looking for a locally available and suitably qualified Purchase Admin to join its team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete purchasing cycle, beginning with purchase requisitions through purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
• Procure construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumable items according to project requirements.
• Source and maintain an updated database of approved suppliers and vendors.
• Request quotations, evaluate and compare prices, and negotiate suitable pricing, delivery, and payment conditions.
• Liaise with suppliers, site personnel, and stores to facilitate the timely receipt of required materials.
• Prepare and handle Purchase Orders, delivery notes, invoices, and GRNs.
• Keep accurate procurement documentation, including purchase registers, supplier comparisons, and delivery records.
• Track pending orders, material requirements, delivery timelines, and supplier response/turnaround times.
• Work closely with the Accounts team for invoice checking, verification, and reconciliation.
• Follow up on outstanding supplier matters and address delays, shortages, or incorrect/damaged material deliveries.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or relevant qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar Purchase/Admin role.
• Good understanding of construction materials, suppliers, and the local market.
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, coordination, and administration.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or procurement software will be an advantage.
• Good command of English with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
