Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator to coordinate and monitor Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and firefighting works across construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong building construction background and hands-on experience coordinating MEP subcontractors, site teams, consultants, and other trades.

Current Bahrain MEP coordinator postings commonly emphasize site coordination, drawing review, subcontractor management, progress monitoring, and testing/commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily MEP activities with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams.
Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting installations.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and coordination layouts.
Coordinate MEP services with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Identify and resolve MEP clashes, technical issues, and site coordination problems.
Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and installation activities.
Supervise and coordinate MEP subcontractors and technicians.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with approved drawings.
Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and rectification works.
Ensure MEP works are completed according to project schedules and specifications.
Coordinate material requirements and follow up on site requirements.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain proper project documentation.
Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project management.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and applicable Bahrain construction standards.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong building construction experience is required.
Experience with villas, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple site teams.
Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and/or Revit/BIM is an advantage.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is highly preferred.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on MEP construction experience in Bahrain, particularly those experienced with villas, high-rise buildings, and large-scale construction projects, will be given priority. Candidates with mainly maintenance/facilities-management experience may not be suitable for this role.
