Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Building Services Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building construction and MEP services, with hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.

The role will involve coordinating and supervising MEP works from installation through testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. These responsibilities align with current Bahrain MEP/building-services roles.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP building services activities on construction sites.
Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related MEP installations.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate MEP services with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site teams.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and installation quality.
Identify and resolve technical issues, clashes, and site coordination problems.
Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and MEP activities.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management.
Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress reports.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable Bahrain regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant MEP/building construction experience.
Strong hands-on construction background is required.
Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE procedures.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is highly preferred.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong Bahrain construction experience, particularly those who have worked on high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects, will be given priority.
