Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have a strong construction background and hands-on experience in managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems, preferably across high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects. Current Bahrain MEP postings similarly emphasize site execution, drawing coordination, subcontractor supervision, and testing/commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP construction activities from installation through testing and commissioning.
Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting installations.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality of installation.
Identify and resolve technical issues, clashes, and site coordination problems.
Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
Monitor manpower, materials, project progress, and MEP work schedules.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management.
Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable Bahrain regulations.
Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress reports.
Attend technical and coordination meetings and provide engineering solutions to site issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects.
Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of MEP installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of construction procedures, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is highly preferred.

Candidates with strong Bahrain construction experience, particularly those who have worked on high-rise buildings and large villa projects, will be given priority.
