Key Responsibilities
• Product Strategy & Line Management
o Manage product lifecycles across commercial hardware lines (desktops, notebooks, workstations, server racks, UPS systems, enterprise printers).
o Evaluate market trends and vendor roadmaps to introduce new SKUs, solution bundles, and enterprise hardware configurations.
o Define product positioning and tiered pricing models to maintain competitive margins in both commercial B2B and public sector verticals.
• Vendor & Channel Operations
o Collaborate with vendor account managers (Dell, HP, Lenovo, APC,etc) to secure optimal pricing, Deal Registrations, and Special Price Requests (SPRs).
o Monitor vendor rebate programs, special authorization programs, and target achievements to maximize profitability.
o Co-manage partner portal compliance, authorization levels, and tier requirements.
• Inventory Planning & Margin Optimization
o Partner with procurement to establish demand forecasts, safety stock levels, and inventory turns.
o Audit stock movement, track aging inventory, and develop clearance/promotional strategies for End-of-Life (EOL) products.
o Monitor competitor pricing across local Bahrain and regional markets to adjust price lists dynamically.
• Technical Presales & B2B Enablement
o Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for hardware specifications, compatibility matrices, and enterprise configurations.
o Work with presales engineers to review complex Bill of Materials (BoMs) for enterprise RFPs, government tenders, and client proposals.
o Train B2B account managers on key product differentiators, competitive battle cards, and cross-selling strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 5+ years Bahrain experience in IT product management, hardware procurement, or presales engineering within an IT system integrator or distributor
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial PC architectures, enterprise server/storage configurations, power redundancy (UPS), and Managed Print Services (MPS).
• Core Competencies: P&L management, vendor negotiation, stock planning, tender evaluation, and analytical reporting
