Core Responsibilities
• Product Expertise & Subject Matter Authority
o Act as the technical and commercial expert for dedicated product categories (e.g., enterprise servers, commercial laptops, storage, printing solutions, or ELV systems).
o Stay continuously updated on vendor roadmaps, technical specifications, and key differentiators across partner brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and APC.
• Sales Enablement & Deal Support
o Support B2B sales account managers by conducting client product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) setups.
o Evaluate client requirements to design customized Bill of Materials (BoMs) and hardware configurations tailored to RFP/tender guidelines.
o Compare competing vendor specs to build battle cards, feature matrices, and value propositions for commercial pitches.
• Vendor Alignment & Product Management
o Work alongside Brand and Product Managers to register deals, submit Special Price Requests (SPRs), and leverage vendor promotion programs.
o Participate in partner enablement training sessions and maintain individual vendor technical certifications.
• Client Advisory & Technical Validation
o Interface directly with enterprise IT teams and decision-makers to analyse technical infrastructure needs and recommend suitable upgrade paths.
o Ensure seamless handoffs between sales proposals and technical deployment teams.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a Product Specialist, Technical Sales Representative, or Presales Engineer in an IT system integrator environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of enterprise client computing, server architectures, networking basics, power backup systems, and commercial licensing models.
• Certifications (Preferred): Vendor certifications (e.g., Dell Technologies Specialist, HP Sales Certified, Lenovo Certified Specialist, Cisco CCNA, or CompTIA A+/Network+).
• Key Skills: Excellent presentation ability, proposal drafting, technical solution mapping, and client interaction skills.
• Valid Bahraini Driving license
